1.Acceptance
By creating an account or using AfCEN Atlas you agree to these terms. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you may bind that organisation.
2.Nature of the maps
Maps in AfCEN Atlas show the data their sources contain, at the date and precision of those sources. They are not survey-grade, cadastral or legal records, official boundary delimitations, engineering designs or investment recommendations.
Verify locations and attributes on the ground before any investment, land, permitting or construction decision.
3.Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the data you connect or upload, for having the right to use and publish it, and for respecting its licence and attribution.
Publishing a map and choosing its access mode are your decisions, not the software's. Anything published with public access can be viewed and embedded by anyone.
4.Acceptable use
Do not connect or upload unlawful content, attempt to access other workspaces or data sources, disrupt the service, or use it to misrepresent the source or status of a map.
5.Ownership
You keep ownership of your data and map content, subject to the licences of any third-party sources. AfCEN keeps ownership of the platform, the viewer and the software.
6.Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
7.Liability
To the extent permitted by law, AfCEN is not liable for decisions taken on the basis of a map, for errors in third-party data, or for indirect or consequential loss.
